James Klaus is a seasoned automotive professional with a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, and dealership operations, who brings a unique perspective to the industry. As the Director of OEM Relations for Vistadash, he leverages his extensive knowledge and expertise to help dealerships maximize their marketing efforts through data-driven insights and innovative tools.
He started his career in the dealership gaining 13-years of experience working at two dealer groups. During that time, he became well-versed in retail automotive holding multiple positions before transitioning to the vendor partner side of the business, where in 2016 he joined Dealer Teamwork. As Director of Sales and then later Chief Sales Officer, James helped grow the company into 12 OEM programs and increased revenue by over 400%.
James’ bold and dynamic personality, along with is passion for helping dealerships succeed, has always played a role in his success. He has had an opportunity to speak at many industry events sharing his vast knowledge and experience with dealers around the country. One of his specialties is bringing dealers, OEMs, and vendors together for in-depth industry-provoking discussions.
In his personal life, James is a dedicated family man to his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, he spends his time coaching his daughter’s youth basketball team and cheering his girls on in a variety of sports. In his free time, you will find James swinging the club on the golf course.
