Erik Hjermstad is a Product Management Vice President for Experian Automotive, responsible for the development, customized market research, analytics, modeling and data driven insights for a number of Experian Automotive solutions, including the Experian Marketing Engine. Hjermstad’s team integrates multiple data sources from credit, vehicle and marketing databases to understand developments and offer solutions in the automotive industry.
With more than 15 years of experience at Experian, Hjermstad is a recognized market research and analytic expert in the automotive information industry, having been quoted in many publications and spoken at several national conferences and industry events. Hjermstad has a deep understanding of analytics, customer segmentation, predictive analytics & modeling, product development, database marketing, CRM, and customer acquisition strategies.
Hjermstad holds a Master of Science degree in Survey Research and Methodology (Statistics emphasis) from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University (Communication Studies, Business, Psychology).
