At the age of 17, Tim was hired to sell new cars at Jake Sweeney Hyundai in Florence, Kentucky. What he thought was a summer job turned into a life-long career. After moving to Atlanta, Georgia, he was offered his first management job at 25 as the Finance Director at Barton Chrysler Jeep.
From there, he became Pre-Owned Manager at Evans Toyota, which was acquired and became Toyota South in Morrow, Georgia. Tim quickly grew that department nearly 50% in the first quarter of his tenure.
He has since held several other management positions in Automotive retail, including General Manager. His last role was as Sales Manager for Hennessy Lexus of Gwinnett, where he continued his career for ten years. With pre-owned vehicles becoming a passion for Tim, Lexus Gwinnett sold more CPO vehicles than any other Lexus dealership in the state of Georgia, from 2011 through 2013. As such, Tim was on the National Lexus CPO Council.
In August 2014, Tim began collaborating with a team of software entrepreneurs to begin development of a live-assisted customer engagement platform to revolutionize dealerships’ communications with customers. CarNow went live with its first dealership in December 2014, launching the richest communication platform in the industry and enabling dealers to provide a white glove experience to online shoppers. With their first product, Visual Sales Messenger, CarNow has become one of the fastest growing software companies in the Automotive industry.
CarNow has three brand new products scheduled for launch in early 2017.
